The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Commonly known as the United Kingdom (UK ) or Britain, is a sovereign country located off the north­western coast of the European mainland. The United Kingdom includes the island of Great Britain, the north­eastern part of the island of Ireland, and many smaller islands.

The United States is a country divided into fifty states. In this map we can see where each of them is located, what is its capital and which cities are the most prominent. In addition, we can find the borders with Mexico and Canada.

The national flag of the United Kingdom is the Union Jack, also known as the Union Flag.

The flag combines aspects of three older national flags: the red cross of St George for the Kingdom of England, the white saltire of St Andrew for Scotland and the red saltire of St Patrick to represent Ireland.

The national flag, is also known as Old Glory, consisting of white stars (50 since July 4, 1960) on a blue canton with a field of 13 alternating stripes, 7 red and 6 white. The 50 stars stand for the 50 states of the union, and the 13 stripes stand for the original 13 states.
